
Laisha D.A.M, a captivating teen model with a wealth of achievements and a unique blend of Indonesian and Australian heritage, embarked on an inspiring summer journey to the breathtaking hidden gems of Sumbawa and Bali, Indonesia.

Laisha’s deep love for nature and adventure fueled this trip, supported by dear friends in the Vietnamese fashion industry, the country where she was born. During her time in Vietnam, she had the privilege of walking alongside renowned Indonesian designers Priyo Octaviano, Agied Derta Gafar, and AM by Anggiasari. Laisha has truly made her mark on the international fashion scene, gracing the runway at Paris Fashion Week 2023.
Exploring Sumbawa’s Hidden Gems

Sumbawa is renowned for its untouched beauty and home to a diverse range of natural attractions. The adventure began on Moyo Island, a hidden gem renowned for its pristine beauty. At the heart of this island is Matajitu Waterfall, a place cherished by Princess Diana herself, also known as the Queen Waterfall. Her visit brought significant attention, highlighting its beauty and cultural significance.

Laisha transformed into a goddess in exquisite orange and blue gowns by designer Trinh Chau from Vietnam, posed elegantly capturing a moment of timeless elegance. The voluminous gowns flows and ripples like the cascading water of Matajitu Waterfall. Channeling a sense of regal sophistication reminiscent of Princess Diana at hidden place she once loved.

The following day began with a pre-dawn journey. A 3 three-hour boat trip from the mainland of Labuan Jambu to the open ocean of Saleh Bay, home for the endangered and gentle whale sharks. Laisha, a mesmerizing mermaid, was gracefully surrounded by the vast ocean offering a unique opportunity to swim alongside these magnificent creatures. Laisha’s magical moment with the whale sharks in Saleh Bay highlighted the peaceful bond between humans and nature. It raises the awareness about the conservation of whale shark and their habitat.
Celebrating Balinese Heritage and Captivating Bali’s Natural Beauty

Laisha’s Summer Journey to Bali was particularly special, as she embrace her Balinese heritage and returned to her roots in West Bali. Her home, offered the perfect setting to explore the untouched beauty of West Bali’s Menjangan Island. Known for its stunning, vibrant corals and colorful, diverse marine species, making it a popular destination for snorkeling and diving. The island provided a stunning backdrop for Laisha’s photoshoot.

Dressed in flowing blue and green gowns by Trinh Chau exemplifies the unique representation of meticulous hand crafted collections to compliment the island’s lush landscapes and crystal-clear waters creating a visual symphony of colors.
Apart from its marine life, Menjangan Island is also a habitat to a population of wild deer, which can be seen wandering along the beaches.

The flowy, soft, green dress was the perfect gown for her encounter among the wild deers allowing her to twirl effortlessly.
From Vietnam to Indonesia, Promoting Indonesia’s Tourism

Through this fashion travel photography, Laisha beautifully combines the allure of fashion with Indonesia’s natural wonders. Trinh Chau is a prominent Vietnamese fashion designer specializing in children’s fashion. Graduated from Ton Duc Thang University, with her notable collections, she quickly established herself as key figure in the Industry.
She not only showcases her designs nationally but also represents Vietnamese traditional costume ‘Ao Dai’ Internationally. She mentors young models and serves as judge in modeling competitions, promoting young talent in the industry.
Her works is characterized by vibrant colors and positive energy. Looking ahead 2024-2025, she aims to continue developing her brand ‘Dress by Trinh Chau’, and provide opportunities for young models to shine.
